My last appointment for 2025 was a cracker.
Today I attended the Flinders University Developmental Education Capstone Presentation Day 👏
This was our first year working with the DE Capstone Projects and was blown away by the end results.
As a disability led social enterprise who's mission is to break down barriers to physical activity and exercise this important work goes a long way to supporting our mission.
Led by James Martin and brought to life by Anne and Dakota they produced three fantastic resources, Exercise Physiology Easy Read, Hydrotherapy Easy Read and Know Before you Go booklet.
These resources will be reviewed and endorsed by our good friends at South Australian Council on Intellectual Disability Inc before going live on our website early next year.
Thanks for inviting me today and for this amazing work, what a way to finish the year ❤️

The atmosphere was electric, the room packed to capacity and emotions were high as we came together for our biggest most awesome end of year celebrations yet 👏

This years theme "fostering disability inclusive societies for advancing social progress" aligns with Determined2's mission to make exercise and physical activity more accessible and elevating the value of inclusion and lived experience, as a disability led social enterprise Determined2's mission is to demonstrate what's possible.
