1. Take breaks to minimise the stress of repetitive movements.
2. Opt for ergonomic office supplies whenever possible.
3. Take breaks for exercise and stretching.
4. Relax shoulders to relieve muscle tension.
5. Try to keep wrists in a neutral position to alleviate pressure.

FCHT is supporting Charlie’s Rainbow 🌈

Charlie’s Rainbow is a not-for-profit organisation that is raising funds to support paediatric Acute Myeloid Leukaemia research at the University of South Australia.

This organisation came about after three year old Charlie lost his battle with AML, of which he was diagnosed at just seventeen months old. His family established Charlie’s Rainbow in his honour, and has partnered with Uni SA to focus on identifying trends of DNA changes after treatment and relapse.

Happy holiday season! 🎄

As the silly season approaches, please note that the clinic will be open and functioning throughout the holidays. However, we will be closed for public holidays so our staff can have a well-deserved few days off!

We will be closed on the 25th and 26th of December, and the 1st of January. We are looking forward to seeing you!

A highlight on.... Dupuytren's Contracture!

Dupuytren's Contracture is the abnormal thickening of tissues in the palm of the hand. Over time, the thickening of this tissue can cause the fingers to pull and curl towards the palm of the hand, making them painful and difficult to use.

At Full Circle, our therapists are familiar with the experience of this concern, and can assist in reducing pain through custom splinting, modifications and exercise plans.
Furthermore, we are able to act as a key factor in your recover after any surgical interventions required.

Here at Full Circle Hand Therapy (FCHT), we are Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists with over 40 years of combined experience in specialised assessment and treatment of hand, wrist, elbow and arm conditions. Our qualified therapists have undertaken further training and education in hand therapy, and we aim to continue to bring you the most recent, evidence-based treatment to resolve your pain and dysfunction.
