These words are positive words to replace the negative words - 'disabled' and 'disability'. Every individual has ability, only dead people have a disability (ie no ability). Para-abled and Parability are in line with the words Paralympic and Paramedic which have been accepted world wide. (Para-abled and Parability as companion words were devised by Jan C***s)

I was delighted to be invited, last Sunday, by L'Arche to their Disability Community Weekend to be interviewed about my published Book 'Thanks Mosquito For the Great Ride, and other subjects. It was a great thoughtful 1/2 hour interview by Cameron Bradshaw (pictured) plus questions from the audience.

My husband and I were made to feel so welcome, there was even a welcome song for us.
