Are you looking for a Christmas present that might help someone achieve their fitness goals? Do you wan to treat yourself to a gift that keeps on giving? As much as we would like to think we can motivate ourselves sometimes we need a little help. This research discusses the benefits of wearable technology - my tip is something simple, easy to use and wear - eg a watch. with a step counter. Set yourself an achievable goal. I set myself about 6500 steps per day -I am more likely to achieve this and then I feel more confident to take those extra few steps or take a quick walk after dinner to get to my goal.
Wearable technology encourages people to be more active (at least in the short term), which can lead to weight loss and other health benefits.
