From today, masks will no longer be mandatory for:

▪️people present in health care settings (this includes staff and visitors at residential aged care facilities)
▪️people working in personal care services (hairdressers, beauty salons, tattoo parlours and similar businesses).

Face masks are an additional physical barrier and help to stop the spread of COVID-19.

At this time in South Australia it is not mandatory for the general community, but it is recommended to wear a mask when out in public if you are unable to physically distance from others.

Changes from Wednesday 23 December
▪️Masks will no longer be mandatory for people in health care settings, or people working in personal care services (hairdressers, beauty salons, tattoo parlours and similar businesses).

ℹ️Updated Frequently Asked Questions will be issued on Monday 14 December.

02/12/2020

From 12.01 am 1 December 2020, all people in health care settings must wear a single-use surgical mask (covering mouth and nose) at all times when in the physical presence of other people on the premises.

All people includes:
▪️care providers
▪️patients
▪️clients
▪️residents
▪️administrative and other staff
▪️employees
▪️visitors
▪️students
▪️contractors
▪️any other person on the premises

❗️There are exceptions for mandatory mask use in health care settings. A person is exempt where the mask will hinder the care which is being provided, there is a medical condition, communication with a person who is deaf or hard of hearing is required, the person is under 12 and the person is a live in staff member or a resident of a residential care facility.

The definition of a health care setting includes GP clinics, public and private hospitals and specialist practices (including drug and alcohol facilities), pharmacies, allied health services, dental services and Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services.

Good news

18/11/2020

For those people that didn’t receive a text message from me yesterday.

Regarding the Covid19 announcement in Adelaide on Wednesday 18th Nov.

The state-wide restrictions are now in place for 6 days.

A “Stay at Home” period began at 12.01 am on Thursday 19 November and will end at 12:01 am on Wednesday 25 November 2020.

This means that I am also closed for business for the Covid 6 day ‘circuit breaker’.

We will have to wait, for further lock down info next week to see what the back to work plan will be.

Sorry, for the inconvenience & we will have to re-schedule ur massage when we know what is happening.

Take Care
Bev 😊
