Fat Farmers is taking on the challenge to break the Largest Fat Farmers Workout record, and Yorke Peninsula is part of it!

Just a reminder that our next Energised Health Run + Brunch is on this Sunday! 🏃‍♀️☕

📅 15th March
📍 Stansbury
⏰ Meet 7:50am | Run starts 8:00am

📍 Meeting point: Out the front of the Dalrymple Hotel

🏃‍♀️ Distance options: 2km / 4km / 6km
Out-and-back coastal route with cones marking each turnaround point. The track is mostly flat (paver path + dirt track) with a few roadside sections, with slightly more uneven surfaces on the 6km option.

After the run we’ll head to Blue Lime Cafe for coffee + brunch ☕🥑

All paces welcome - come for the run, stay for the connection.

First Run + Brunch = DONE 🏃‍♀️☀️☕

Thank you to everyone who came along to our very first Energised Health Run + Brunch. The vibes were high, the chats were flowing, the pace was perfect and that sunrise? Absolutely on point 🌅✨

This is exactly what Run Club is about.
Movement. Connection. Confidence. Community.

And yes… more arrows will be brought next time hehe 🏹😂 (we’ll work on the navigation skills).

This picture is a snippet from a weekend away with my partner 🍭 Where we spent the day doing a mystery picnic including collecting beautiful local produce, visiting spots we wouldn’t normally stop at, and letting the day unfold without a strict plan. No tracking. No rules. Just good food, great company, and time to slow down.

It was about connection with each other, with local growers and makers, and with the places we were exploring. It was about sitting down, sharing food, laughing, and actually being present.

As a dietitian, I talk a lot about nourishing your body but nourishment isn’t just about what’s on the plate. It’s also about the experience around it. The memories made, the conversations had, and the joy that comes from sharing food with people you love.

This weekend was a perfect example of that 🤍 thanks .me for the mystery picnic it was delightful!

If motivation alone worked, New Year’s resolutions would last all year 😅

And honestly? This is one of the biggest issues I see with clients - relying on motivation to carry them through long-term health change. Motivation is helpful… but it’s inconsistent. Life gets busy, energy dips, stress hits - and motivation fades.

The real game-changer isn’t trying harder or being more disciplined.
It’s building habits that work even when motivation is low.

Small. Simple. Sustainable actions done consistently will always beat bursts of motivation.

Healthy habits > hype ✨

The Minlaton Fat Farmers Exercise Group, run under Energised Health, is a welcoming, no-judgement exercise group built around community, connection and movement.

By joining, you’re also becoming part of the wider Fat Farmers rural health initiative. A movement focused on improving health, wellbeing and connection across regional communities.

Whether you’re just starting out, getting back into routine or looking for motivation and accountability - all fitness levels are welcome (you also don't have to be a farmer 😅)

As 2025 comes to a close, I just want to say a huge thank you to every client, referrer and community member who has supported Energised Health and myself this year. Your trust, conversations and commitment to your health truly mean the world.

It’s been an incredible year of learning, growth and connection - and I’m so grateful to be part of your journey.

I’m heading into 2026 feeling excited, motivated and inspired, with some new projects and collaborations in the works that I can’t wait to share. 👀✨ Keep an eye out - there’s lots more to come.
