Happy New Year.
This place still captures my heart even while in flood.

What are you grateful for today?

I’m grateful that my families shack is not in the same situation as many others along the mighty Murray.

I’m also grateful for my essential oils. Son #1 has woken with a headache and is prone to migraines. In his roller that he applies to his temples, crown and back of neck it is a blend of peppermint, lavender, lemongrass and frankincense. Fingers crossed to stays as a headache.

I’m going to leave this here and say how much I am enjoying doTERRA Nutrition Whey Protein. Vanilla and chocolate.
I’ve never really been one to feel fueled up on shakes but this one gets a big tick from me and my family.

Not essential oil related, but oil related for support.

Last week along with trying to celebrate my trip around the sun not only I, but my entire family was grieving the loss of our fur human.
He took a piece of our hearts 💔 when we said our final goodbyes. A tough decision, but many a lesson learnt.
No matter what mood we might have been in, he loved us. Always there to comfort us and be an ear as we spoke. I’ll certainly miss my walking buddy.

To support me through my grief process of course I used oils.

I want to share with you a little about my breath work experience I had with Leanna Bishop | Mentor]

What is breath work you ask?

An amazing 90 minute session where you are guided, supported and held by Leanna’s voice, music and the sound and movement of your own breath. The breath that gets you out of your head and into your heart quicker then you could ever imagine. What I shifted and released in this time was mind blowing. Something that had been hanging over me for far too long.

Of course during my session my diffuser was going. I started it beforehand to allow the aroma to fill my room. Intuitively I picked:

💚Spearmint - oil of confident speech (helping you become emotionally clear about what you want to say)
🧡Zendocrine- oil of vitality and transition (let go of limiting beliefs and behaviours, see life from a fresh perspective)
💜Lavender- oil of communication and calm (address the fear of being seen and heard and emotional honesty)

Not until after my session and looking into each oil did I realise how much they supported me the entire time. All so beautifully fitting to what I experienced.
