🚗🚦Adelaide Traffic Alert! 🚦🚗

Road closures for the bp Adelaide Grand Final (Supercars Championship, November 27-30) are already in effect and will cause major disruptions, especially for travel between the CBD and eastern suburbs. This includes the area surrounding our clinic in Waverley House, part of the St Andrew’s Hospital precinct.

Plan for SIGNIFICANT delays during peak hours, particularly after 7:30 am. Last year, some peak hour commutes more than doubled in time!

Key Road Closures in Effect from Friday, Nov 21:
- Wakefield Road & East Terrace: Closed until 6:00 am Thursday, December 4.
- Dequetteville Terrace (South of Bartels Rd): Closed until 3:00 pm Tuesday, December 2.
- Bartels Road, Hutt Street, & Dequetteville Terrace (North of Bartels Rd): Closed until 6:00 am Tuesday, December 2.

Plan your journey and allow additional time for travel as there will be delays.

For full closure details and maps, check the official Adelaide Grand Final website.

A Journey to Joy: Parenthood After 40

We are overjoyed to share the story of our incredible patients, Caroline & Rodrigo who welcomed their long-awaited baby in June.

A beautiful reminder that hope and science can come together in the most life-changing way.

In her mid-40s, Caroline never gave up on her dream of becoming a mother. Now, she and her partner Rodrigo are embracing this next chapter with full hearts and deep gratitude.

💬“I feel like the happiest person in the world. Rodrigo is living a dream; he’s the most amazing father I could have ever imagined. We are completely in love with our baby.”

Thank you to this special family for allowing us to share your journey. Your story offers so much hope to others still on their path. đź’›

Menopause is so much more than hot flashes — and it’s about time we start talking about it properly. 💬💛

We’re excited to share this powerful episode from Jessie Inchauspé, a French biochemist who specialises in lifestyle advice to support women’s health. What a privilege it was to attend the 2025 SEED (Specialist Sharing Expertise, Education, and Data) Conference in Sydney this past weekend, alongside my wonderful colleague Dr Michelle Wellman.

This year’s theme, “Womb to World: Breakthroughs and Beyond,” brought together leaders in reproductive medicine for two days of thought-provoking presentations and discussion. Topics ranged from cutting-edge embryology and egg preservation to global comparisons in IVF and the challenges of treating older patients.

Feeling energised and inspired by the innovations and shared passion in our field. Thank you to the organisers and speakers for an outstanding event.

Recently, I had the pleasure of attending the ASPIRE Conference in Singapore — the Asia Pacific Initiative on Reproduction.

It was a fantastic opportunity to learn about the latest advancements in reproductive technology, refine clinical skills, and engage in meaningful discussions with both national and international colleagues.

I’m grateful for the chance to connect with peers and experts in the field. Events like these are invaluable in helping us stay at the forefront of reproductive health, so we can continue providing the best outcomes for our patients.

🎗️💙 Ovarian cancer affects over 1,800 Australian women each year, yet survival rates remain heartbreakingly low.

With no screening test available, early detection is crucial—it starts with knowing the symptoms and acting fast.

🚨 Bloating, abdominal pain, feeling full quickly, frequent urination—these could be signs. Listen to your body and speak to your doctor.

Let’s break the silence. Raise awareness. Support research. Empower women. Together, we can make a difference. 💙
