Where are we all at?
It’s nearly the end of January… and let’s be honest, many New Year’s resolutions may have already faded.
Often they come and go because there isn’t a strong why behind them. No clear steps. No real commitment to take action—especially on the days we don’t feel like it.
I’ve learned that when I don’t feel like doing something… that’s usually when I need to do it most. It’s no longer about motivation for me — it’s about discipline. Showing up anyway.
Making goals achievable, getting organised, and removing excuses has been key. When you truly want something, there has to be drive behind it. A burning desire. A deep, honest want.
For me, sometimes it’s taken time to uncover that drive. Old subconscious programming and memories have been in the way. Even what I eat affects my mood, energy, and desire to move forward — hello self-sabotage!
But when you finally find your why… it changes everything. That drive becomes unstoppable.
I’ve learned that shifting one thing at a time is the easiest and most sustainable way forward. Small steps every day add up. If I take 365 steps in the direction of what I want — I’ve already won.
It’s not about doing 10 things at once. It’s about focusing on one or two intentional actions every single day. Then you build from there. Each step is a “yes” to yourself. It’s affirming, encouraging, and far more powerful than beating yourself up for what you didn’t do.
I love a good checklist. Ticking things off reminds me how far I’ve come and helps me feel proud of what I’ve achieved.
And finally — stay in your own lane. Stop focusing on what others are doing and bring your full attention back to your goals and your dreams.
Small steps. Daily discipline. Big change. ✨
