📷 TBP creates a photographic map of your skin, making it easier to spot changes early - ideal for patients with lots of moles, a history of melanoma, or anyone wanting a skin baseline for future comparison.

The cost of the photos are between $99–$129, with concession discounts available. TBP is an extra layer of protection and works alongside your regular skin check, not in place of it. Your nurse or GP will recommend it if it’s right for you.

Meet Dr Awwad 👋

Dr. Anne Awwad is a cornerstone of the Medical HQ team, having joined us in 1998. With over 25 years of loyal service to our practice and a career spanning back to her graduation from the University of Adelaide in 1985, she brings a wealth of wisdom and continuity of care to her patients!

Dr. Awwad is particularly passionate about supporting women through all stages of life. Her special interests include: Shared Antenatal Care, Women’s Health & Osteoporosis Management, and Mental Health Support.

Meet Dr Duah 👋

Dr. Kwabena Duah has been a vital part of the Maitland Community for over 23 years, providing expert GP care and continuity to our patients. He joined Medical HQ at its inception 12 years ago and continues to provide high quality care.

With an extensive international medical background, Dr. Duah’s qualifications span across Ghana, South Africa, and Australia. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and holds advanced postgraduate degrees in Maternal and Child Health as well as Public and Occupational Health.

Elizabeth - also know as Libby, has a strong interest in preventive medicine, women’s and children’s health, and mental health. Working across multiple hospitals in South Australia, Libby has gained valuable experience in sexual health, paediatrics, psychiatry, and palliative care.

Did you know that Influenza is a notifiable condition in South Australia? This means that whenever a lab confirms a flu case, it is legally required to be reported to SA Health. This is to ensure that our health authorities can monitor outbreaks, ID new strains, and prepare hospitals and clinics for the peak of the season as required.

If you come into Medical HQ for a flu test and confirm a positive result, we'll notify SA Health on your behalf. This data helps protect the most vulnerable members of our community.

Meet Dr Dutschke 👋

Dr. Jade Dutschke is a dedicated General Practice registrar who brings a wealth of local hospital experience to the Medical HQ team.
Jade completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Adelaide and since then, she's had the privilege of completing a wide range of rotations across Adelaide’s major hospitals, including the Women's and Children's and Flinders Medical Centre. While Jade enjoys caring for patients of all ages, she has a particular special interest in Paediatrics.
