Athlete Highlight: Jess Stenson 🏃‍♀️

This year we’ve been working closely together to manage and overcome a few key issues as Jess prepared for the Sydney and Valencia Marathons.

These snippets capture moments from our sessions, where the focus has been on strengthening her body and optimising performance around a couple of key areas that had been causing trouble.

What isn’t shown is the dedication Jess brings, not only to her training and her body, but to the people around her. She is an incredible human who consistently puts in the work, and she is truly deserving of the title of the fastest Australian female marathon runner of all time.

Wrapping up 2025 at Base Movements 🤍

What an incredible year it’s been.
We have limited appointments remaining for December, so if you’re looking to get tuned up before the festive season, now’s the time to book.

Beau is gearing up for a huge weekend at HYROX Melbourne. After managing a hamstring issue that flared during HYROX Perth, he came to see Max to build a clear plan for the weeks leading in.

Key findings:
1️⃣ Pain during the explosive phase of burpees
2️⃣ Pain at top speed while running

Our focus has been on increasing his hamstring tendon loading and improving mobility through his hip and spine. There’s no “quick fix” the body still needs time to heal

But giving Beau more movement options and strategies will help him perform at his best in Melbourne.

Such an awesome experience being out there with everyone and even better spotting some of our clients on course.
