Each year, around 1,900 women are diagnosed with ovarian cancer, and it is now considered a common cancer for women. It often presents with subtle symptoms that are easy to dismiss and is most often diagnosed at an advanced stage, when it's very difficult to treat.

Early detection can make a big difference, so it's important to know what early symptoms to look out for. If any of these signs are new, persistent, or unusual for you, it’s important to talk to your GP.
