Please see the attached post from SA Health with regards to wearing masks. All patients and staff will be required to continue to wear masks at all times when in the clinic and waiting rooms except in the case of a medical exemption. We thank you for helping keep our community healthy and safe! 😷🦠
😷 Masks are now only required to be worn in the following places:
▪️ Passenger transport (including taxis and rideshare)
▪️ Planes
▪️ Indoors at airports
▪️ Hospitals
▪️ Healthcare and pathology collection centres
▪️ Residential aged care
▪️ Disability care facilities
▪️ Correctional services, prisons, training centres, and other places of custody
▪️ Pharmacies
👩⚕️ Health care services include:
▪️ GPs
▪️ medical specialist services and practices
▪️ mental health services and practices including drug and alcohol services
▪️ allied health services
▪️ complementary and alternative therapy services and practices including Chinese medicine practitioners
▪️ community health services including Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services
▪️ dental services
▪️ reproductive services and sexual health services including termination of pregnancy
▪️ radiology services including screening services
▪️ disability and rehabilitation services.
You can choose to continue to wear a mask in other environments, particularly if you are unable to physically distance.
Please be respectful to those who choose to wear a mask, as reasons for wearing a mask are not always obvious.
