Behind every meal delivered, every room that is cleaned and works as it should, and every shelf stocked with vital supplies are our hospitality, maintenance and stores teams.

Their work often happens quietly in the background, but its impact is felt across every ward, every patient stay and every shift.

Today we take a moment to say thank you. Your contribution matters, and we are grateful for the care, skill and dedication you bring to our hospitals.

We were honoured to be part of the 3000+ strong audience at this mornings International Women's Day Breakfast. Hosted by Senator Penny Wong, with key note speaker Katherine Bennell-Pegg, Astronaut and 2026 Australian of the Year.

The room was full of inspirational women and an astounding 600 school students, the leaders of the future and supporters. Katherine spoke of being sure not to leave talent on the launchpad and capturing and creating opportunities.

A wonderful opportunity for some members of our ACHA family to pause, reflect and to recharge - in a room full of energetic, clever and inspirational women.

Saying farewell is not easy. Rev Liz Dyson has been a part of the ACHA family for 16 years, most recently as the Ashford Hospital Chaplain.

Liz, apart from being an all round fabulous human, has shown extraordinary compassion and support to our patients, their families, as well as our staff and broader community. She often appears before you know that you need her.

We wish Liz every happiness as she steps back, resets and creates new memories outside of the hospital setting.
