For the third year running, a group from PowerHealth has laced up for the Corporate Cup in Adelaide!

From now until October, they’ll be tackling the 4.5 km course every fortnight, joining over 500 teams and nearly 5,000 participants in this popular workplace wellness event.

The Corporate Cup is a team-based series that promotes health, fitness and camaraderie, and the PowerHealth crew is excited to be back for another season!

Congratulations to Erica Cole from Gold Coast Health on her HFMA Finance Leader of the Year Award. It is wonderful to see a PowerPerformance Manager (PPM) user waving the patient costing flag!
Erica has a wonderful vision and dedication to lifting the level of capability and the results in activity based costing at a local, state and national level, which we are delighted she has been recognised for.

They say you can’t put a price on a person’s health, but that’s exactly what Erica Cole does every day of her working life.

Erica has been Gold Coast Health’s Activity Based Costing Manager for 10 years. She and her team are so good at activity-based costing, Erica was recently named HFMA Finance Leader of the Year in the Health Finance Awards. That means she is recognised nationally as one of the top health finance managers in the country.

Thanks to Erica and her team, Gold Coast Health is one of the few health services in the country that views costing as a vital component in planning our future services. What this means for our community is better-informed decisions in planning services and ensuring we can deliver the right mix of services where and when they are needed.
