Doctors' Health SA is coming to Kangaroo Island on the June long weekend!

Healthy Doctors' Dinner
Join us as Dr Jill Benson from Doctors' Health SA presents on the latest information about services and supports available for rural doctors. This is an opportunity to discuss and share strategies on how to remain well and productive in rural medical practice in a private setting. The presentation will be followed by dinner where you can enjoy a relaxing evening networking with local medical colleagues.

Outreach Visit
Dr Jill Benson will also be running an Outreach Visit where she will offer grant-funded, private medical consultations for GPs as a way for doctors to access medical care for themselves.

Doctors'​ Health SA is seeking a Medical Director (0.2 FTE) to be the public face of the organisation. The Medical Director oversees the provision of safe, high quality, timely clinical care to patients presenting at the clinic, the 24/7 phone service, and the rural outreach programs.

Doctors’ Health SA is coming to Mount Gambier in February!

We know that geographical isolation can be one barrier that prevents rural and remote doctors from accessing independent medical care. So we are addressing this by providing an Outreach GP visit to Mount Gambier next month.

This is a way for doctors to access medical care for themselves from an experienced GP who is pleased to be able to offer their services to their colleagues.

This is a grant-funded, private medical consultation. It is an opportunity to confidentially discuss any concerns you may have in a private setting.

The consultations will be conducted by Dr Lorenzo Ponte at the Hawkins@Pinehall Medical Clinic, Mount Gambier on Saturday 14 & Sunday 15 February 2026.
