💧Today we replaced a messy setup with our quality FT-300UV Free-Standing filtration system with UV sterilisation.
We plumbed a manifold on the filter system inlet allowing our client to select between their mains or rainwater supply quick and easy. Now they have filtration that will remove dirt, bacteria and also chlorine when on the mains supply.
Just need to update the single power point later today and good to go!

Triple 20″ x 4.5″ Whole House Rainwater Filter Systems remove unwanted sediment through a 10-micron polyester pleated cartridge, followed by a 5-micron poly spun cartridge to remove finer silt particles, before filtering through a 5-micron silver impregnated carbon cartridge to remove colour, taste and odour. Silver is used to inhibit the growth of bacteria on the cartridge. The spun cartridge helps extend the workable life of the carbon cartridge. Pressure gauges indicate water inlet and outlet pressure and a Viqua Ultraviolet Steriliser kills 99.9% of bacteria that may be present in the water supply.

The unique ‘Free-Standing’ galvanised support frame supports clear filter housings and is fully plumbed with 25mm stainless steel pipework. Supplied with a polyethylene weather protection cover. All systems come fully assembled ready to go.

Our Story

The Tank Doctor was established in 2005 by David White as a rainwater tank cleaning business. Over the past 12-years our team have developed unique techniques to efficiently clean rainwater tanks to remove sludge and contaminants with minimal water loss.

Through many years of cleaning thousands of rainwater tanks we quickly noticed major problems associated with harvesting rainwater such as incorrect capture methods, poor rainwater storage conditions and supplying the water unfiltered in dangerous condition to the family home. To combat against these problems we have created specially designed rainwater filtration systems with ultraviolet sterilisation and top suction systems which greatly improve the condition of the water when used for human consumption.

Our Filtatank Rainwater Filtration Systems are made by The Tank Doctor in South Australia and use only the best quality components in the market place from filter housings made in Italy and Viqua U.V. systems made in Canada. We have quickly learnt over the years that you only get what you pay for so we only offer quality systems that are built to last and carry genuine warranty.
