The Rural Emergency Skills Program (RESP) has kicked off in 2026 with Critical Care, attended by 12 rural GPs and RGs on 6-7 February 🩺
RESP has been delivering emergency skills training to South Australian rural GPs and RGs for 20 years, enabling participants to maintain confidence in emergency skills and retain credentials to continue to provide a service to South Australia's rural hospitals and communities.
This year, RDWA will provide 10 courses focussing on Adult, Paediatric, Anaesthetics and Obstetrics on-call emergency care.
RESP courses comprise more than 20 hours of CPD learning delivered by our training partner, Learn EM , and includes:
✔️ Online learning modules
✔️ Two-day simulation of emergency clinical care with multi-disciplinary accredited trainers
✔️ Competency assessment by accredited assessors.
