Our participants have been busy in the Animal Care Program spending time with our geese and goats, making sure they’re well‑fed, happy, and their water troughs are fresh and clean🪿🐐

Caring for these cheeky characters teaches responsibility, routine, and confidence... and with their big personalities, there’s always plenty of fun and laughter along the way! 💙

Our Animal Care Program gives participants a hands‑on opportunity to learn what it takes to look after animals every day, right here at Windamere Park!

Last weekend we held our Cultural Festival Weekend Stay, and our participants had an incredible time exploring traditions from different cultures through cooking, craft, and creative activities 🌏✨

There were plenty of laughs as everyone enjoyed time on the farm, joined in group activities, and headed out to Club Cool for live music and dancing! 🎶💛

These weekend stays are a great way for participants to build friendships, grow their independence, and try new experiences in a supportive and fun environment 💙

Our participants have been hard at work in the Woodwork Program, getting creative and building some fantastic handcrafted pieces using a range of tools 🛠️

It’s been wonderful to see their focus, teamwork, and pride in bringing each project to life. There’s nothing better than the sense of achievement that comes from creating something with your own hands 👏

Yesterday was a fun and delicious day here at Windamere Park, as our participants and staff took part in a pancake competition to see who could create the most imaginative and creative pancake! 🥞🎨

It was fantastic to watch everyone combine their creativity and cooking skills in such a playful and engaging way. From colourful toppings to inventive shapes, the pancakes were as fun to make as they were to admire!

We love seeing everyone at Windamere come together for activities that encourage confidence, teamwork, and a whole lot of smiles 💙

Happy Friday Everyone! 🌻

It was an exciting morning here at Windamere Park as our alpacas had their annual shearing! 🦙✂️

Professional shearer Leigh came out and visited us and gave our alpacas a fresh new summer look - and our participants absolutely loved watching the process. For many it was the first time seeing alpacas being shorn, and there were plenty of laughs and surprises as our fluffy friends transformed before our eyes! ☀️

Moments like these create wonderful learning opportunities and spark curiosity as we share unique experiences together here at Windamere Park 💙
