This morning, Tilly and Michelle represented BoraCare at South Australia’s Biggest Mentally Healthy Breakfast.

The 2025 theme “Connecting When It Counts” couldn’t have been more fitting. It was amazing to see over 350 people in the room who took a pause from their busy schedules to be present, listen, and connect.

We heard powerful personal stories, practical advice, and insights on creating mentally healthy workplaces. A huge thank you to the organising team at the South Australian Business Chamber and to the speakers for reminding us that connection really does count. 🩵

We are so thrilled to share that The BoraCare Foundation has been awarded a 2025 Commonwealth Bank Staff Foundation Community Grant! 💛

This $20,000 grant will support our Serenity Room initiative, where we are creating calming, sensory-rich sanctuaries designed to offer the children and young people we support a space that is safe, nurturing, and healing.

This one’s a proud moment for us. 🎉 Recently, Ayyub from our team took a big step in his professional journey by upskilling through the Train the Trainer course in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI), he’s now leading in-house training sessions for the team!

TCI is a vital part of how we create safe, supportive environments for the people we support - and having Ayyub guide his colleagues through these first sessions has been a proud moment for all of us.

These moments matter. They remind us that the heart of what we do is in the important services we provide -and- in our people who show up every day, ready to learn, grow, and support one another.
