Our updated hydro team 💦

The team supporting our hydrotherapy sessions and helping children build strength, confidence and skills in the water.

You might notice we’re mostly the same, but we’re excited to have welcomed Laura and Imogen to the team last year. After completing their studies, they’ve both graduated and continued on with us, and we’re so happy to have them remain part of the hydro team.

We’ve also welcomed Eva back as an Allied Health Assistant, it’s great to have her back in the pool with us!

Other than that, our wonderful hydro team remains the same, and we’re so grateful for the care and energy they bring to every session.

Our updated Children’s Physio SA team 💙

The friendly faces behind the care, support and encouragement you see in the clinic every day.

You might notice we’re mostly the same, but we’re excited to officially introduce a new face! Hana has been working with us in the hydro pool over the past 1.5 years while completing her studies, and we’re so happy to now have her as part of our clinic team.

We feel incredibly lucky to work alongside such a passionate and supportive group of people who care deeply about the children and families we support.

Concerned about your baby’s foot shape?

It’s very common for newborns’ feet to look curved, turned in, or positioned differently in the early weeks. Often this is due to:
✨ Positioning in the womb
✨ Muscle tightness
✨ Ligament flexibility
✨ Normal developmental variation
Most variations are mild and improve over time, but early assessment can give peace of mind and ensure there are no long-term impacts.

👀 Signs to watch for:
• One or both feet curve inward (Metatarsus Adductus)
• Foot points down and in (Talipes / Clubfoot)
• Foot feels stiff and doesn’t move easily
• Noticeable difference between the two feet
If you’re unsure, it’s always okay to ask. Early support makes a big difference 💙

❌ Physio is only for serious conditions
❌ Kids are mini adults

✔️ Every child’s development is unique
✔️ Physio supports everyday movement challenges
✔️ Growing bodies need age-appropriate care

If you have concerns about your child’s movement or development, you’re always welcome to book an appointment by calling the clinic on 8267 4394📞

From tiny feet to big jumps 🦶➡️🤸‍♂️

This is Darcy, one of our current clubfoot clients, living his best trampoline life.

We love sharing moments like these.
Clubfoot kids don’t miss out on life. They run, jump, play and keep up with their peers.

Thank you Ella and Ben for letting us share this. We’re so proud of you, Darcy 💛

Back to School Physio Tips 🎒

Many kids spend the school day working hard to stay regulated in environments that are busy, loud, and unpredictable. Home can be a place where their nervous system finally gets a chance to reset.
3 simple physio-backed ways to help:

1️⃣ Keep morning and bedtime routines consistent
Same order, same steps each day. Predictability helps kids feel safe in their bodies when everything else feels new.

2️⃣ Build in movement after school
Long periods of sitting and self-control are hard work. Play, climbing, jumping, or a walk helps reset the nervous system and release built-up stress.

3️⃣ Add proprioceptive “heavy work” at home
Carrying groceries, pushing a laundry basket, wall pushes, or tug-of-war provide calming body input and help kids feel grounded after a big school day.

✨ Regulation at home supports resilience at school.
