Reiki, or Universal Life Force as it is sometimes referred to, connects
people to the universe in a way that is simple yet can be profound.
So many people in our society today are closed off from
emotions and feelings - just to survive in their lives. Yet what they
don't realise is that they are a part of something greater than they
can ever imagine.
I know that we are connected to an energy source greater than
ourselves. It is not outside of us, it is inside and totally surrounding
us. You realise that you are not separate and alone in this great
cosmic dust bowl we call the Milky Way, but a part of something
greater than that.
As a Practitioner, when I put my hands on someone to give them a
Reiki treatment, they instantly can feel this warm encompassing
energy. It relaxes you, and helps you breathe deeply.
Reiki is a complementary therapy that can be used in conjunction
with normal medical treatment - from simple cuts, bruises and burns
of daily life, to heart attacks and strokes, and emotional trauma from
depression and death. Reiki energy fills you with an unconditional love that helps you to heal on many levels emotionally, physically and spiritually.
Anything can benefit from this universal energy.
Self treatment is first and foremost to continually top up your own
energy and healing resources. Friends and family can follow.
