I used to think it was just age catching up to me... Until I realised: it wasn’t age. It was my nervous system.

The stiffness, the slowness, the hesitation to move, we blame it on getting older. But most of the time, it’s our rhythm that’s off.

Our ability to move, recover, and adapt isn’t about years lived. It’s about how supported our body is.

If your calendar is full but your tank is empty, your nervous system is trying to tell you something.

We’ve been taught to stay busy. To do more. Be more. Achieve more. But behind the non-stop schedule? A body that’s bracing. The nervous system can only take so much push before it starts to pull back.

I see it in practice every day:
Headaches
Exhaustion by 2pm
Irritability at the smallest things
Feelings of burnout

Care isn’t about doing less. It’s about resetting the rhythm so you can handle what matters better. The moment you pause, your system starts to recalibrate. You’ll feel it in your energy. In your patience. In how fully you can show up.
