Services Australia will be visiting the Adelaide Veterans’ and Families’ Wellbeing Hub on Friday 24 April 2026 from 10:00am.
They’ll be here fortnightly over the next six months, offering free, drop‑in support to help you access and understand:

✅ Medicare
✅ Centrelink
✅ Child Support
✅ Financial questions and options

There’s no appointment needed, and support is completely free.

🎉 Veterans SA is excited to once again team up with Military and Emergency Services Health Australia to deliver the MindRight and StoryRight Program for 2026.

Delivered over two days, the program brings together lived-experience facilitators and participants in a supportive environment, providing an opportunity to:

🤝 Connect with others
💪 Explore personal goals, values and strengths
📖 Develop a strong personal narrative
🔎 Learn practical ways to translate military skills and experiences in a way civilian employers understand

This free program is open to all South Australian veterans and transitioning ADF members.

Looking for a gentle way to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with yourself? 💙

Join us for MISH: Mindfulness for Inner Strength and Healing this Monday 27 April, 11:15am–12:30pm at the Veterans’ and Families’ Wellbeing Hub.
This session is all about building inner strength, reducing stress, and learning simple mindfulness and self‑compassion practices you can use in everyday life led by a qualified and experienced facilitator who has worked closely with veterans for many years.

Join us as we come together to commemorate ANZAC Day at Lives Lived Well. on Friday the 24th of April.

Will you be attending Anzac Day memorial services on 25 April?

Adelaide Metro will once again be offering free public transport for current and former military personnel on buses, trains and trams. Personnel in uniform, who present a Veteran Card, or are wearing service medals can access the free services.

Additional services will operate to support travel to dawn services, the Adelaide Anzac March and other commemorative events across metropolitan Adelaide.

✨ Show Up & Share at the Veterans Hub ✨

We had a fantastic Show Up & Share at the Veterans Hub this week! It was wonderful to see everyone come together and share some truly unique items — from Roman coins dating back to the 4th century to some fascinating contemporary coins. So much history and so many great stories behind each piece!
A big thank you to everyone who brought something along and helped make it such an engaging and enjoyable session.
