Aloha All,
Living in Fnq we really have a little Hawaii terrain right here in our backyard- It’s not that hard to imagine majestic mountains, rainbows, mist, and waterfalls. This makes it the perfect place to place our selves in the stories of old and to get into the practice of slowing things down and practicing Aloha!
I envision a group that one by one learns the dances so in time we can share this with the world close to us. Starting with our local community. Of course this takes action, commitment and dedication which in today’s world is a big ask… I get it.
As part of my learning I was required to get up through the week for a 4am lesson online.
The good news is that I am here in Fnq ready to impart and pass on what I have learnt so we can build an hula ohana here and touch those around us with our hula. It takes the Hana (the great work to do so). In fact it’s not just lessons it requires a personal practice. I can show you the how….
For now I need you to hear the call and show up, book your place today and demonstrate your commitment.
The details:
I postponed the 6 week series to begin this Fri 6:15pm
This week is a special extra 30 mins so we can learn the oli (chant) as part of protocol.
From that time you will be able to practice using protocol when we gather.
Then for the following 5 weeks it will be an 1 hour lesson.
