Walk the walk for better cardiovascular health 🚶☀🍃
Walking is one of the simplest ways to improve your health. Just 30 minutes a day can lower your risk of:
✅heart disease
✅ stroke
✅ type 2 diabetes
✅ some cancers.
Walking is low impact, free, and great for strengthening bones and boosting your muscle power.
If you can’t find a spare 30-minutes in your day, break it up into 3 x 10-minutes sessions – it’s just as beneficial as doing it in one go!
💡 Not a fan of solo strolls? Why not walk and talk with a friend or join a walking group for a bonus mood lift. If you have a heart condition, it’s important that you speak to your GP to learn how to safely integrate walking into your day.
