After graduating from Yunnan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2006 with a Bachelor Degree, she trained with well-known pioneer Acupuncture Masters such as Guigen Yang and Jianwen Wei. Through them she gained considerable knowledge and experience that assisted in the development of her own personalised treatment skills.

Our Story

Julie Zhu —is an Australian registered acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist with many years’ of clinical experience. She specialises in Tung Style acupuncture which uses less needles but aims to achieve maximum qi flow. Chinese herbal medicines are also used to develop a treatment plan designed to suit individual needs and lifestyles. After graduating from Yunnan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2006 with a Bachelor Degree, she trained with well-known pioneer Acupuncture Masters such as Guigen Yang and Jianwen Wei. Through them she gained considerable knowledge and experience that assisted in the development of her own personalised treatment skills.

Most of her patients regularly receive acupuncture but for those who have never had it before, thin, sterile, single use acupuncture needles are skilfully inserted in to specific acupoints. This produces an unfamiliar sensation, but it does not hurt. Acupuncture is an effective drug-free treatment for a wide range of conditions. Julie`s objective is to treat the cause of the ailment and to assist in the maintenance of your health and well-being.
