🎨 Join our new community project exploring culturally informed sexual health through collage art.

🗣️ Before the collage workshop, peer-led discussions will run online 5:30pm-7:00pm on Fri 27 March and Fri 24 April.

🖌️ Then come along to the workshop on Sun 17 May (IDAHOBIT) 10am-3pm to build creative skills and develop culturally informed sexual health messaging.

South Australian Police (SAPOL) recently launched a revised LGBTIQA+ Strategy which includes updates to the LGBTIQA+ Liaison Officer Program.

Thorne Harbour Health was one of the organisations consulted in developing this strategy alongside SA Rainbow Advocacy Alliance, SHINE SA, and The Equality Project - Australia.

We’re hopeful that this strategy helps SAPOL better understand the needs of our diverse communities in South Australia and respond appropriately.

Sustainable Style is back! Running on Sat 14 Feb and Fri 27 Feb from 10am - 4pm at 57 Hyde Street, these workshops are for anyone interested in creating clothes and upcycling - no prior experience required. 🧵

No RSVP necessary, just drop-in at anytime throughout the day and we'll get you creating something special! Light lunch provided. All LGBTIQA+ people and allies welcome. 🏳️‍🌈

Our Under‑50s PLHIV social and support group reconvenes on Tue 3 Feb, offering peer connection and shared discussion for younger people living with HIV.

Over the holiday season, SAMESH will be closed Wed 24 Dec to Mon 5 Jan, with Rapid HIV Testing restarting from Fri 30 Jan.

While the holidays can be a time of joy, they can also be challenging for some LGBTIQ+ people. If you need support during this period, we encourage you to reach out to Switchboard and their QLife service.

World AIDS Day on December 1 is fast approaching! This is the perfect chance to show your support and remind others that HIV Still Matters.

SAMESH and Thorne Harbour Health will be hosting this year's Street Appeal outside the Adelaide Railway Station - handing out ribbons to raise awareness and funds for people living with HIV on Monday 1 December 8-9am.

We'll also have a stall on Rundle Mall the same day 10am-3pm opposite the Adidas Store - giving out red ribbons and other World AIDS Day items to help raise awareness and reduce stigma relating to HIV.
