We had such a great time this week exploring nature-based therapies - from finding natural materials to make our own clay, to using writing and sensory awareness to feel more grounded and calm.

It's amazing how connecting with the earth can help us reconnect with ourselves - our roots, our heritage, and the simple things that bring us peace and connection.

🦷🐴 Dental Day at Nature’s Therapy Room 🐴🦷

Yesterday was dental day for Paddy, Toby, and Koko – and they were absolute superstars! ✨ A big shout-out to Dr Shaan from Vet Align Equine for the awesome mobile set-up and the gentle, compassionate care provided. 💙

It makes such a difference having the horses treated at home, in their own environment, without the stress of travelling. The boys were relaxed and happy throughout – and now they’ve got fresh, healthy smiles to show for it! 😁

Thank you, Dr Shaan, for helping keep our herd comfortable and cared for. 🌿🐴

A vet visit for Toby today for a sore and weeping eye. The green dye that you can see in the pic helps the vet to see any cuts or abscesses to the eye. Turns out he has a small, pin prick size injury. Is now receiving an eye ointment three times a day until healed. Fingers crossed for a quick recovery 🙏❤️‍🩹

Poor Paddy was lame this morning. He has developed an abscess in his hoof. After thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting his hoof a poultice and dressing has been applied. Fingers crossed the abscess will burst and clear in a day or so and he'll be as good as new 🙏

Mulching of the smaller branches that came down with Cyclone Alfred has begun 😁. Still so much more to do. Day by day we will get a little more done 🤩
