Apologies for the late notice - we arrived at the servo this morning to find the power is out.

We checked with Ampol yesterday but it seems they didn't know that the servo would be out either.

Hoping all our prep work isn't going to go to waste so, as soon as power is restored, we’ll head straight down and get set up.

Just a little appreciation post as we head towards our week off…

Over the last few months, some of our long-term customers have moved away and, this week, a couple of our much-loved regulars let us know they’ll be leaving soon - one indefinitely and one for the next year. We’re obviously not going to announce your business on Facebook, but you know who you are 💙

We always appreciate you telling us (because we do worry when we don’t see our regulars!), but, wow, we’re really going to miss you!

Thank you for all the support over the years. We’re so lucky to now have so many new, incredible customers too, but we never forget those who’ve been coming back year after year and keeping us in business.

And while it might seem like a small thing but to everyone who comes in with their gold coins, thank you! Keeping the cash tin stocked is surprisingly difficult over the holidays! 😆

So, thank you to all our customers, suppliers and fishers for supporting us as we head into our 10th year in business - for all the laughs and all the fun.

We’re sure 2026 will bring some new and exciting things. For now, we need a few days to sleep off the holidays 😁

Just a reminder that, after tomorrow, we'll be taking a week off.

Closed Thursday, 5 February 2025 to Sunday, 8 February 2025 inclusive.

Back to normal trading on Thursday, 12 February 2025.

We're open today and will be stocked up tomorrow (Sunday) with frozen fish fillets and boxes of prawns for those who would like to stock up for the week ahead.

Morning All!

Another beautiful day today.

Lots on the boards again, including a great selection of both fresh local reef and creek fish.

We'll be open this week from Thursday to Sunday, as usual.

We will then be closed next week (5 February - 8 February) to recover from a busy holiday period.

We've got plenty on the truck so you can stock up this week.

What a lovely morning!

We have lots of fresh prawns, bugs and oysters on board today, as always.

In fresh, wild-caught local fish fillets, we have:
- Spanish Mackerel, $40kg
- Barramundi, $40kg
- Goldspot Cod, $42kg
- Whiting, $36kg
- King Salmon, $33kg
- Blue Salmon, $29kg
- Jewel, $29kg
- Bluespotted Trevally, 29kg
- Flake, $25kg
- Queenfish, 22kg *special*.

We'd like more people to try - and then fall in love with - Queenfish, so we've popped it on special! When the fish is treated well, it's a great feed. Meaty and firm, it's versatile - everything from pan frying to putting it into curries and stews will work.

For a bit of extra variety, we have some frozen reef fish from when the weather was kinder, including Coral Trout, Large Mouth Nannygai, Pearl Perch, Goldband Snapper, Knobby/Pink Snapper, Hussar and more!

It's possible that the weather tomorrow (Sunday) will be brutal and we may not be able to open.

If we can open, we will...but, just in case, we recommend stocking up today.

We've put on extra stock, including prawns, bugs and oysters.
