Along with my team at Whitsunday Prosocial,we aim to support those and their families in the local community with any help they may need with achieving their goals. Qualifications:
- Cert III in Education Support
- CHCEDS434A - Provide support to students with autism spectrum disorder
- University of Canberra, Lessons 1-8 in Disability Standards for Education
- Chi.L.D Association Certificate of Completion – Self-regulation and Positive Behaviour Support
- Working with Children Blue Card
-NDIS workers screening check (yellow card)
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Fully vaccinated against Covid-19
I am a long term local resident of the Whitsundays. A qualified, experienced and passionate teacher aide to school-aged children in the Whitsunday region, I have worked at St Catherine’s Catholic College since 2012. My daily duties involve assisting primary school age children with their education and social development. Support Services we can offer include:
Core - Assistance with Daily Life
This support category relates to assisting with or supervising personal tasks of daily life to enable the participant to live as autonomously as possible. These supports are provided individually to participants and can be provided in a range of environments, including the participant’s own home. Core - Assistance with Social, Economic and Community Participation
This support category relates to assisting with or supervising a participant to engage in community, social, recreational or economic activities. These supports can be provided in a range of environments, such as in the community or a centre. Capacity Building - Increased Social and Community Participation
The supports in this support category allow participants to take part in skills-based learning to develop independence in accessing the community. Capacity Building - Improved Relationships
Working alongside practioners and to continue to implement Positive Behaviour Supports as stated in their support plans. Respite care for all ages - Day and night including sleep overs
