🩵 A Gentle Reminder 🩵

At TLC, our staff pour their hearts, energy, skill, and compassion into the work they do. Every day, they support multiple clients, manage complex needs, and go above and beyond to ensure everyone receives the care, respect, and consistency they deserve. Their dedication, professionalism, and kindness make all the difference — and we are deeply proud of them.

Because of the nature of their work, there may be moments when they can’t respond straight away, or days when they need time off for their own wellbeing. When this happens, we ensure support continues so no one is left without help, if you need help, please just ask let us know. 🙏

What we ask is simple: please treat our staff with the same kindness, respect, and understanding they show to others every single day.
Speaking to them rudely, making accusations, or saying personal insults about them is not only hurtful and untrue, it is behaviour we do not accept.

We understand people experience frustration and difficult days, but our team deserve to feel safe, supported, and respected at all times.

Thank you for helping us maintain a caring, positive environment for everyone. 💛

💖 Hair Twins Alert! 💖

Miss S came into the office yesterday to show off her gorgeous new hair colour… and I have to admit, I may be just a tiny bit biased.. her hair colour is absolutely stunning! 😍

The best part? She and I are now hair twins, rocking the same beautiful shade — and I am loving every single moment of it! 🌟 There’s just something so joyful about sharing matching vibes —double the style, double the confidence, and double the fabulousness!

And let’s not forget our amazing support worker Penny… with skills like this, she might just be starting a whole new career in hair magic! 💇‍♀️

We couldn’t resist celebrating this little moment of hair happiness and sharing it with everyone. Because honestly, a gorgeous hair day is meant to be shared! 💖

🎶 SING IT LOUD – What a Night! 🎶

What an incredible evening we had at the Sing It Loud: Bingo Music & Karaoke Night last Friday! 💙

The room was absolutely buzzing with laughter, music, and connection — exactly what community spirit is all about.

The bingo was heaps of fun (and maybe a tiny bit competitive 😉), the karaoke brought out some serious hidden talent, and Josie reminded us all that it doesn’t matter if you can’t sing — it’s still so much fun to try! 🎤🎶 (And she proved it loud and proud! 😂)

A huge, heartfelt thank you to the amazing Mel Ling for creating and hosting this wonderful event. 💕 Your energy, warmth, and passion for inclusion made the night truly unforgettable — we’re so grateful for everything you do! 🌟

🌟 A Message from our CEO 🌟

I want to take a moment to share just how truly proud and grateful I am to lead Tailored Lifestyle Connections. This role is far more than a position or a title... it is a calling, a passion, and a responsibility that I carry with my whole heart every single day. TLC represents everything I hold dear: empathy, inclusion, empowerment, and a steadfast commitment to supporting people with disabilities to live meaningful, fulfilling, and joyful lives that revolves around choice and control.

Leading this organisation is incredibly personal to me. Every day, I see the incredible difference our team makes — from the quiet, small victories that light up a participant’s face, to the big milestones that change lives, and all the heartfelt moments of connection, laughter, and achievement in between. These moments remind me why I do what I do, and why being part of TLC is so much more than a job — it is a privilege and a true joy.

This is more than a role, it is a mission, a purpose, and a heart-led journey. TLC is a community, a family, and a vision brought to life through the care, dedication, and passion of every single staff member. To lead this team, shape the services we provide, and create opportunities for people with disabilities to thrive is something I hold deeply close to my heart.

I am proud not just of what we achieve, but of how we achieve it — with integrity, compassion, and unwavering commitment. Every smile, every milestone, every success is a reminder that together, we are making a real, lasting difference. 💛

Today, our hearts come together as we pause to honour and remember the incredible men and women who have served and sacrificed for our country.

Their courage, strength, and resilience have gifted us the freedom and peace we enjoy today. We remember not only those who made the ultimate sacrifice, but also their families — the quiet heroes who carried the weight of absence, worry, and loss. ❤️

At Tailored Lifestyle Connections, we stand united in gratitude and reflection. As a community built on care, respect, and inclusion, we take this moment to appreciate the values of service, compassion, and connection that bind us all together.

Today we had the absolute pleasure of celebrating Mr R, who has officially started his new job with the amazing support of IDEAL Placements. 🙌

Day for Daniel is a moment to pause, reflect, and keep his message alive - raising awareness, starting conversations, and helping children learn to Recognise, React and Report unsafe situations.
