Important Update re Mental Health Consultations –

Medicare have recently removed item numbers 2712 and 2713 for mental health consultations which may result in some changes to your rebate for mental health appointments.

Please be assured that our doctors remain dedicated to supporting patients with their mental health needs, providing ongoing, compassionate, and high-quality care.


Given that this may ultimately lead to higher out of pocket costs for patients, we recognise you may wish to raise your concerns re Medicare’s discontinuation of these consultation item numbers.

We encourage you to contact your Local Federal member of Parliament if this is the case.

Unfortunately, bulk billing doesn’t cover the real cost of care so please be aware that our billing policy remains the same.

We believe your health deserves time and quality over quickly rushed consultations.

Our private billing and appointment structure ensures that our team can give you the time you deserve whilst providing safe and thorough care.

*Important Update to Cancellation Policy / DNA Fee & Appointment Fees *

To better support our patients during these challenging economic times, we will be reducing our late cancellation / DNA fee as of 1st September to $50 for standard and $100 for long consultations.

We would also like to reassure our patients that the usual practice of fee increases will also not be occurring at this time of year.

Our goal is to provide flexibility and understanding, while still maintaining the quality of care you expect from us.

An SMS will be sent prior to your booked appointment so please ensure you confirm your appointment with a Yes or cancel with a No within the specified time frame as outlined in your SMS.

If you do fail to cancel/attend or do not give the appropriate time frame cancellation, the non-attendance fee does need to apply.
Please note: This fee is a non-Medicare rebateable service.
