Awesome effort in the road to post op rehab with the view to hitting the 2026 soccer season (if his wife allows 😊).
It was a reward to help Tim and guide him back through his progressive loading strength work to now running and agility work after a Right ankle Maisonneuve injury - for arthroscopy & syndesmosis stabilization with screws ...these are not as common as the typical syndesmosis as the upper fibula is also fractured.

Well Done Julie Andrew,😊 you are truly stoic and were determined to reach your goals. Julie was gardening and fell and managed to fracture both heel bones. She presented in a wheelchair and 2 moon boots ...and her first question was "when can I walk again" and the next "when can I play pickleball". After a fantastic internal fixation by on her right calcaneus and alot of modified strength rehab and hydro, Julie is back on the court and competitive as ever. 🏅

Amazing opportunity for Cameron Cooke this week who got to see in action in theatre performing some complex foot and ankle procedures. It is such a rewarding experience to be able to help these patients with their post op rehabilitation and see the cutting edge techniques of a very skilled and experienced surgeon.

Hard work for Andrew who worked so hard after total rupture repair of the left Achilles' tendon. Post op stiffness can be a side-effect after major ankle trauma.

Welcome Skye who has joined our team at Inspire Podiatry. Skye is a qualified phlebotomist who will help with our PRP (platelet rich plasma) injections, she is also learning the ropes on reception, so we are lucky to have a multiskilled member to the team!

All things ankles! This is a really common injury we see in the clinic on a daily basis. 70% of ankle injuries don't require surgery.

Return to sport after a higher grade ankle syndesmosis rupture. For Hamish ths required surgical repair with tightrope surgery. Hamish worked hard and was determined to pass his rehab to get clearance for an important soccer game. ⚽
