👋 WELCOME TO PIONEER HEALTH!

We’re delighted to welcome Dr Manidipa Das to the Pioneer Health GP team.

Manidipa grew up in New Zealand and studied medicine at the University of Otago, graduating in 2015.

She has worked in a number of hospitals across a broad range of specialties in Australia and NZ whilst attaining post-graduate qualifications in women's and children's health.

Manidipa moved to Albany in 2019 and calls it home; she worked at the local hospital before moving into general practice specialist training, which she completed in 2022. Manidipa enjoys the breadth of general practice and getting to know her patients; she is passionate about preventive health across the lifespan.

Yes, it's Halloween.

But forget spooky, today we chose "sparkly" and dressed in pink to support Pink Ribbon Day. We shared morning tea, raffled prizes, and raised funds for a cause close to many hearts — breast cancer awareness and research.

Pioneer Health is seeking applications from graduating year 12 students for our gap year program.

This is an opportunity for a suitable young adult to work alongside a dedicated team of health professionals and gather valuable exposure to these role models.
This position involves junior medical reception duties so applicants with a broad range of skills are sought. Personal characteristics that are suited to this role include;
◾ a positive attitude
◾ good communication skills
◾ a patient and caring nature

The intention of future study in the health sciences is favourable but not essential.

We are thrilled to share some incredible achievements from two of our doctors:

Tania is one of just five finalists recognised for her outstanding contribution to mental health in WA, celebrating the positive impact she has made for people living with mental health challenges, their families, and carers.

🏆 𝗗𝗿 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝗰 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗹𝗲𝘆 — 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗱𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗚𝗮𝘄𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗲 (2025.1).
This is presented to the GP candidate in WA who passed all three Fellowship examinations on their first attempt and received the highest exam result in the Clinical Competency Exam!
