We’re proud to be featured in tomorrow's Albany Advertiser, highlighting the impact of our Commonwealth-funded Albany Connected Communities pilot project (ACCP).

In its first year, the social prescribing program has supported 147 people to reconnect with their community and reduce isolation, showing the power of connection in improving wellbeing.

A positive step towards healthier, more connected communities.

Pictured below in this behind the scenes shot is Amity Health's Project Lead, Dorte Hansen with ACCP Link Worker, Lewis Kind.

Thanks to Regional Reporter Jackie Elezovich for your time this morning!

From tomorrow night, Albany's hills and coastline will transform into a stunning masterpiece with Lighting the Sound, the world’s largest light installation.

Finnish artist Kari Kola, inspired by the Menang culture and Albany’s rich history, will illuminate the coastline and hills over three weekends in a breathtaking display of light.

Congratulations to The City of Albany and FORM for bringing community and the many visitors to Albany, together!

Amity Health is proud to provide student placements to The University of Western Australia students. This semester we have welcomed Jimmy and Sarah, both in their final year of a Social Work degree.

"Our placement experience has been incredibly positive. We’ve both felt very welcomed and supported by the team, and we’re gaining valuable learning opportunities through Amity Health's Integrated Primary Mental Health Care program. The variety of client work, professional guidance from Paul, and the collaborative environment have all contributed to a really meaningful placement experience." - Jimmy & Sarah -

Last Friday, Jimmy and Sarah introduced some of their cohort, who have placements at Relationships Australia WA, Neami National, Department of Communities and WA Country Health Service, to the team at Amity Health where insights were shared into the work being done across our organisation.

We hope to one day see some of you back in Albany and the Great Southern, providing much needed social work support to our regional communities!

Congratulations Professor Kendall. This is a very deserving award!

Amity Health is proud to host Professor Kendall as a visiting specialist to Amity Health's Albany clinic rooms, helping people to receive high-quality services closer to home.

At the WA Rural Health Long Service Awards, we recognised Clinical Associate Professor Peter Kendall for 30 years of delivering specialist respiratory care to regional Western Australia.

A strong advocate for equitable access, Peter has travelled extensively to ensure country patients receive high-quality lung function testing and respiratory clinics close to home.

His career reflects a simple but powerful belief: where you live shouldn’t limit your healthcare.

Thank you for three decades of service to regional WA.
