We are thrilled to announce that we have a new doctor! Welcome Dr Lisa Hughes to the team! 👏👩‍⚕️

Dr Hughes has been a General Practitioner practicing primarily in Rotorua, New Zealand for over 25 years. She has had previous medical training in Australia and in England, in addition to her training in New Zealand.

Dr Hughes has further post-graduate qualifications in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, and in Paediatrics. She is also currently the Clinical Editor for HealthPathways, New Zealand and is a member of the Rotorua Area Primary Health Service.

Outside of work, Dr Hughes enjoys the outdoors - backpacking, hiking and skiing. ⛷⛺️

Dr Porter is a UK-trained General Practitioner with broad experience across the UK and Australia. She holds post graduate qualifications in Clinical Education, Public Health, and Emergency Medicine.

Since moving to Australia in 2018, Dr Porter has worked extensively across metropolitan and regional Victoria, with a strong interest in rural medicine, women's health, medical education, and emergency care. She is known for her approachable patient-centred care and commitment to community-focused practice.
