We are proud to welcome Dr Sonu Qureshi (MBBS FRACGP DCH) to our clinic .
Dr Qureshi has been working as fully qualified GP for more than 7yrs.
In addition to his GP qualifications(FRACGP) he was awarded diploma in children’s health(DCH)in 2016.
Dr Qureshi has experience working in clinics and nursing homes in metropolitan and suburban Sydney and regional places like Goulburn,
His interests include management of chronic disease, men's health and workers compensation,
He is passionate about children’s health and caring for families with young children.
Dr Qureshi will be commencing work at our clinic from the 1st of December 2024. All patients are welcome.

Thanks to Dr Sumit Kamra, Dr Priya Kondappan and Dr Niranjan Sarjapuram and the team at the Wodonga Priority Primary Care Clinic for taking the time to show me around this morning.

I know the GP shortage is hitting rural and regional areas and waitlists to see the doctor are getting longer.

Services like these are such an asset to the local community and allow people to receive care without needing to visit the emergency department.

Our new venture in partnership with Murray PHN and Victorian Health. Open to all residents of the Albury Wodonga area serviced by our efficient and friendly Sarkon team.

Albury Wodonga residents can now access free medical care for urgent conditions at a new Priority Primary Care Centre (PPCC). PPCCs have been established to relieve pressure on nearby hospital emergency departments.

Staffed by a team of GPs and nurses, PPCCs will assist people who need immediate medical care for non-life threatening injuries and illnesses, such as mild infections, fractures and burns.

The Wodonga PPCC is operated by Sarkon Medical Centre in partnership with Albury Wodonga Health.

Where: 1A & 2 White box Rise Shopping Centre, 81 Victoria Cross Parade, Wodonga 3690 Victoria.

When: 9am-6pm Monday to Friday. (From 20 February hours will be extended to 8am-8pm Monday to Friday and 9am-4.30pm Saturday).

We are looking for a friendly and experienced Receptionist to work across multiple sites. In this casual position you will report directly to the Practice Manager. You will be part of our admin team managing a busy front desk reception, welcoming our patients to the Centre, supporting our health care professionals as well as general administration duties. This is a challenging role within a very supportive clinic. If you love helping people and enjoy working in fast paced environment then this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Must be patient, considerate and empathetic. Hard working, reliable, organised with a can do attitude. Ability to multitask as there is a high volume of patients and phone calls. Excellent communication skills with great attention to detail.
