Yesterday marked ✋🏼✋🏼TEN YEARS in business as Courtney Gordon Myotherapy & what a ride it’s been.
From starting out as a young and inexperienced little Myo / to all the changes, challenges and growth that has transpired in the past decade.
I can confidently say I’ve loved every minute.
Myotherapy is absolutely one of my passions in life. Helping people. The connection. The problem solving. Seeing real change. Theres really no better feeling than having a career you love.
I am so so SO grateful for everyone who has supported me since the start and throughout my journey. Especially those from the very beginning that still book in today, id name you but 😅 I really have no words for the loyalty and kindness and the friendships that have come with it.
I’ve always believed a huge part of being a good Health Practitioner is really knowing your client. Their family, their career, their hobbies, their life. This way treatment can be offered on a holistic level to ensure I can always aim for the best possible result. Our bodies are so much more than how we move. They’re intertwined with how we sleep, how we think, what we eat, our stress levels, our self care etc.
The added benefit to aiming for this level of understanding is the genuine connection I have with so many of my clients, who have watched and now know my family, my hobbies, my sport, my life.
Life is about connection.
Life is about happiness.
Life is about health.
Life is about living.
Myotherapy has provided all of these for me.
So THANK YOU. Whether you’ve followed my journey, supported my journey or actively booked in, to be a better and more functional version of yourself, thank you for valuing your wellbeing and thank you for letting me play a small role in your story, as you’ve all played such a special role in mine.
Special mention to my husband for always prioritising my career and supporting me with getting back into work when I’ve wanted to, and our three little wild children who now think everyone i say hello to in public is a “client” 🙃😆
Now, here’s to the next 20
(and then I’m retiring, start bumping up the super babe 😉😆)
