As we come to the end of Mother’s Day, I would like to take a moment to honour the Pilates Mum of Albury Wodonga! (That’s what I like to call her anyway 🤣)
Sharon’s vision for Reach Pilates 6 years ago was to create a space where people could enjoy moving their bodies, while being in a space to heal physically, mentally and emotionally. She wanted everyone who walked into the studio to feel loved, safe and accepted, all while motivating you to be the best you can be - if that doesn’t describe the perfect Mum, I don’t know what does!
Being around Sharon is like having a home cooked roast dinner on a Sunday. Warm and comforting, and good for your soul 💜
I have never met anyone more dedicated to learning. Every time she would meet someone with an injury or condition she didn’t know about, she would research and then usually do a course on it!
Sharon always made sure that every single person that walked in, got the support they needed, whether it was through her, or by referring them to someone who knew more!
I (Hannah) have not only been lucky enough to have spent the last 6 years working alongside my mum (half of this we were living together too!), but I am most lucky to have had the last 31 years to call her my best friend.
Our next season will be the most challenging for so many reasons, but the biggest one being I won’t be working alongside my mum anymore 💔
Here’s to the most wonderful woman who can outdo me on cartwheels on the ladder barrel at twice my age 🥂🤣
We love you Sharon! ❤️❤️❤️
