I still can’t believe little girls in Germany are being taught the Empower Me Within program - and they get excited about the same thing… what is our creative activity today 👏🏼

Learning and implementing through creativity is GOLD!

„Was basteln wir heute?“
Das ist mittlerweile die allererste Frage wenn die Kinder ankommen.
Und ich liebe diese Neugier. Aber: Basteln gibt’s erst nach der Theorie. 😉
Letzte Woche haben wir unsere kleinen Kämpfer gemacht.
Davor haben wir darüber gesprochen, wie Angst funktioniert, was die Amygdala macht und warum unser Körper manchmal Alarm schlägt, obwohl wir eigentlich sicher sind.
Dann haben wir geübt, unseren inneren Kämpfer wieder zu beruhigen mit Atmung, mit Ruhe, mit dem Wissen:„Ich bin gerade nicht in Gefahr.“
Das Basteln ist kein Extra. Es ist der Moment, in dem das Wissen greifbar wird. Und plötzlich verstehen Kinder: ich kann meiner Angst zuhören und ihr trotzdem sagen, wann sie Pause machen darf. 💛
