Gaelle Pettifer sharing the essence of peaceful practices I love to share peaceful practices with those seeking a path towards inner calm.

Sacred soundscapes, restorative yoga, personalised photography, interior design and styling along with small batch clothing are some of things I spend my time with. Creative and calming, my instagram page is the.peace.lounge/instagram.com

We’ll be harmonising our hearts with sound, following the path of the breath’s movement with mudras and meditation and relishing a long Savasana during which a live soundscape of mantra will fill the air, the element of flow. Finishing up with snacks and chai!

Comfortable clothes is all you need for this session as you’ll be seated or lying down. I’m pleased to say there are only a handful of places left and I’d be disappointed you missed out if you have plans to come. The link to book is in the bio or contact Gina directly at

Have you booked your place to attend this session in just a few weeks?

Together we will visit the sounds of our heart through simple chanting. This has a remarkable impact on how we feel within ourselves, offering a unique respite from noise as we follow the breath to create harmonious resounding joy.

After attuning ourselves through sound and breath, we will use mudras to focus in on the directions the breath/air element, takes as it journeys with purpose throughout our internal system.

This meditation prepares us for the next stage of our time together. During Savasana an opportunity avails itself to calm the senses to towards peace whilst being lulled to safe surrender. Gentle mantras will permeate towards the core of who we are, love.

Out time together concludes with warm chai and snacks, ensuring a full body experience of joyful union.

Emerging from winter like it never happened!

It’s been a over a year since there’s been any water in the pond at the local gardens so I’ve found a new place to sit and it gives me all the earthing I need to be inspired. It’s a blessing because making it through the cold months tends to be a manic struggle and the park over the past few years has provided me with a calmness my nervous system seems to respond well to.

I’m contained in a small space where I live, so the park means I get a place to practice asana, mudra, mantra and dhyana. Whilst it is in the surrounds of local activity, somehow it’s also a quiet place I feel safe in.

These practices serve me well for maintaining a cyclic balance, that is, not a lineal representation of health and wellbeing, but rather a slightly revolving one where seasons and predicaments are approached using yogic and ayurvedic knowledge.

The other requirement I need for personal survival is an outlet for creativity. My personal practices are for my own wellbeing, but creativity is the outward expression of who I am. Not who I’ve been or will become, but rather the spirit of the soul itself and what it wishes to experience.

Om Suryaya Namaha! Salutations to the Sun for the input it has for giving sustenance, at least during this time of the year in late spring!

Breath | Sound | Savasana 2hrs $65ea December

Calling all Baysiders, I’ll have the great honour of presenting this sublime 2hr session of peaceful practices for your immense enjoyment!

We’ll be harmonising our hearts together in collective chanting, following the five internal pathways of the air element the Vayu Bhuta and then you will be gently encouraged to soften into rest through the sacred sounds of mantra lullabies.

As usual we will conclude our time together with warm chai, snacks and chats.

Bookings are made directly with Gina at in Cheltenham and currently we are deciding on whether an afternoon or evening class will be most celebrated and to be held the first weekend of December!

Food on the Restorative Yoga with Massage and Peaceful Practices training retreat is chosen to build health and maintain wellbeing as we navigate the curriculum and enjoy meals being lovingly prepared.

I am still looking for interest to attend the next proposed dates in March ‘26. No prior understanding of restorative practices are needed as everything is taught from the ground up and you will leave with extraordinary skills to care for yourself and others.

I know for those who attended in June it was also an opportunity to reassess priorities and living structures that hold back the implementation of peaceful wellbeing and reignite measures to create change.

As always, my trainings are thoroughly planned with your optimum wellbeing in mind. There is space to decompress, chances for sharing, releasing and celebrating and learning that can share the essence of calmness and care with your wider community.

I’m heading to Bendigo this weekend to provide 2 classes at the yoga festival, if you’re there and want to know more, not only can you ask me but there will also be someone who attended the June training you can enquire with as well!!

Here I am explaining the beauty and power of a mala to the training group last June in Bali.

Each participant received a mala that was made by me as part of their training kit. We practiced japa together with a simple mantra, infusing the love that is received and given from the heart when we realise its fullness.

One of the mantras I’m teaching at the Bendigo Yoga Festival in a couple of weeks reiterates this exact remembering, that divine love cannot ever be depleted.

Words for the mantras will be provided and we’ll go through each word, line by line so we can see, hear and feel the Sanskrit as we sound out the mantras together. The Mantra Lab is on Saturday 4 October at the festival, I hope to see you there!

Rather than chasing trends or achievements, the Restorative Yoga with Massage and Peaceful Practices Training Retreat is an opportunity for deep calm and connection to self.

We take a morning, before the general public arrive, to immerse ourselves in the rich tapestry of divine purpose and proceed through cleansing rituals at a Water Temple. Guided by a local priestess, our time echos the subjects we cover during our meditations and sharings during the course.

The proposed dates for the next training to be held in Ubud Bali is 15-21 March 2026. If you’re curious how the training will benefit your life and pursuits, message me.

If you’ve studied with me before and seek a refresher, I have a special discount for returning students, let’s talk!

I haven’t had much to share about lately, it’s been day to day operations, but I have got some plans in the works.

Catch up is, I was going to study next year and then the campus I chose to attend stopped running the course. I tried to work through a move to Melbourne at a different campus but it didn’t flow the same way.

So it opened opportunities to different choices and I’m reopening interest to study with me the 50hr Restorative Yoga with Massage and Peaceful Practices.

With the venue I work with currently going through an upgrade, I’m proposing dates next year, Sun 15 - Sat 21 March.

As usual I am searching for women who want to create peaceful change in their lives, business and community through techniques tailored to enhance our experience of life.

I need 2 or 3 more women to kick this off as a viable training. I hold all the logistics around the capability of a successful week and with only a small ‘following’ I rely on your continued interest to enable access to this deep content. This is not surface training but significant and meaningful!

Most days I feel a bit whispy, moving through life on a wing and a prayer, it’s a reliable part of having a strong ayurvedic vata dosha.

It always been this way for me, Vata is whispy, light and ever changeable, it’s the wind that whips up around me carrying me to the next situation, it’s the shifts from normal, urging me to create and invent the life ahead.

It means that being motionless is different for me than being still. Still is beautiful, it grounds and focuses me, but being motionless is to suffer the times when I’m not inspired or gripped by fear and anxiety.

Peaceful practices bring me back to the consistency of pleasure that stillness and quiet trust give me, when I’m all up in the air and need the reliance of what is stable.

For those who saw my story, my car is waiting for a new starter motor, when you live in Australia, not having a car is tantamount to being stuck. In a couple more days I’ll be back in the driver seat!

whispered to me last year that she would love Restorative Yoga with Massage Training. I had no idea how it would unfold seeing I don’t have a viable space to teach from, but the brewing had begun.

I love a bit of gentle nudging and respond well to enthusiastic prompting so when another person approached me about the training and I was in Bali at the time, the negotiations around timing began to host it in Ubud!

Katie teaches at and if you’re in that area of Victoria be sure to lock in to what is a beautiful studio nurturing the essence of wellbeing.

As a group of wise and inspirational women, we spent a glorious and full week of training, learning and developing skills and techniques around providing a high level of service for those who require peace.

As a photographer I had time to also shoot Katie for her memory bank and further promotions of her work and she sure does shine!

If you’d like to have soul stirring images of you for your socials/business, or be part of the next training opportunity, give me a nudge! Gx

I’ll be taking 2 classes at the BENDIGO YOGA FESTIVAL 4 & 5 October 2025

1. SURYA NAMASKAR - Heart and Glow 1hr
Did you know that mantra and asana, sound and structure, can be combined to bring a sense of inner flow through the harmonising of movement? This class will lead you through the 12 mantras that connect to the 12 positions of Surya Namaskar or Salute to the Sun. Mantras connect us to the shakti or power of the enlightened ones, in this case the sun, the glowing beacon of life that awakens us to our true potential. Learn through experience how to develop your practice into a devotional one and illuminate your inner glow!

2. Mantra Lab - Learning Mantras one word at a time
1hr
Mantras are devotional and instructional in their usage. They help soothe the heart, connect us to the Divine and welcome intention to our actions. During this Mantra Lab, you’ll learn 3 mantras line by line and by repetition, so you can feel them resonate within as often as you chant them. We will cover 1. Om Asatoma 2. Gayatri Mantra 3. Om Purnamadah. This class is not a kirtan, but rather an opportunity to listen and learn with the vibrancy of your eternal spirit and voice.
