Meet Meghan Wetkin, our newest Physiotherapist here at . Meghan is an incredibly kind person and an incredible Physio. We are so lucky to have her working at Bush Steps!

Meghan has worked in Aged Care and Disability for the last 20 years in Alice Springs, and is passionate about supporting people to live a good life no matter what individual physical differences exist.

Meghan works with a broad range of age groups and disabilities, mainly in the NDIS space. She loves to work collaboratively with clients, their families and other health professionals to work towards their goals.

Alice Springs has become her home - she enjoys the supportive, vibrant community in which we live and the beautiful land of the Arrernte peoples.

Sometimes kitchen and functional assessments look like this ☕️🪵

There’s lots to assess in these situations; planning and sequencing, executive function, motor control (fine and gross), transfers, mobility, balance and safety.

We’re back for 2025!

We have been reflecting on where Bush Steps started in late 2023 (a shed, a P&O and a Physio) in our planning for this year. We now have a clinic and Occupational Therapy and some exciting plans for 2025.

Along with our clients in Alice Springs, we are planning outreach in very remote communities for over 70days of the year across the central (and further surrounding) regions of the Northern Territory, South Australia and Western Australia.

We are so excited to get started.
