A reminder to everyone registered for Becoming and Belonging next Tuesday December 2nd - We are moving the group to The Corkwood Collective

Google will give you easy directions if you're unfamiliar with the space and there is plenty of parking available

We are hoping to have enough chairs, and will have some foam mats to make the space comfortable, but if you have a fold up chair or floor mat, perhaps bring it along to use.

For the last four months, Birth and Beyond have been working in partnership with Relationships Australia Northern Territory to deliver a new group, Becoming Dad Mparntwe, for new and expecting dads.

Thank you to Rob from Relationships Australia NT for facilitating the four sessions and to all the dads who came along and participated in this new project. We hope everyone who came along found the groups supportive and useful in your role as fathers.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas around town, especially with these cheeky elves taking over the windows for the Alice Springs Town Council's Elf on a Shelf Competition 2025

Birth and Beyond Elf has been busy trying to get that perfect Christmas photo to send to everyone, and promises to have it sorted by our Christmas Morning Tea on Thursday 11th of December when we'll have our annual Christmas photo set up for you to use.

The Alice Springs Town Council's Elf of the Shelf Competition winners will be drawn at the Christmas Carnival on Friday December 12th. We'll be at the Carnival with a Christmas themed playspace for your little ones aged 0-4 from 5-8pm so be sure to come say hello, have a play, and don't forget to vote for our little elf in the window.

Sharing this important perinatal mental health week point ahead of our final Becoming Dads Mparntwe group tonight from 6pm here at Birth and Beyond

Join Rob from Relationships Australia Northern Territory and other local dads for the group with the session theme of Building Connections.

No need to book, just come along and enjoy some subway catering and cool drinks in our comfortable airconditioned space.

Birth and Beyond is located in Fan Arcade (via Tuit Lane as it's after hours)

We will have a special Christmas edition of our Families Morning Tea on Thursday 11th December, 2025 from 10am-12pm

This year we will also be relocating our Christmas celebration to a larger space at the Alice Springs Uniting Church Hall so we have plenty of room for prams and play. The hall is located at the back of Adelaide House in the Todd Mall and we'll have signs up to help you find us.

We'll have a Christmas photo scene set up for you to take some cute photos without the stress of smiling for Santa and lots of spare hands to help get bub's attention.

Thanks to The Bakery Alice Springs for their continued support of our Families Morning Teas, and to Alice Springs Uniting Church for allowing us free use of their hall.

Our free infant nutrition workshop, Introduction to Solids is on at Birth and Beyond Parent Resource Centre from 10am this morning.

As this is the final session for 2025, if your baby is due to start solids over the Christmas season or early 2026, you don't want to miss out on this chance to learn all the best nutrition information from the Flynn Drive Community Health Centre's nutrition team.
