Meet our Judging panel!

Dylan River is an Australian film director, writer, photographer and cinematographer. He co-wrote and directed the series Robbie Hood in 2019, was cinematographer on the 2020 series The Beach, wrote and directed episodes of the TV series Mystery Road: Origin (2022) and in 2024 was co-creator of Thou Shalt Not Steal.

Azura Nichols is the gallery director of , arts worker, and advocate for contemporary Indigenous art in Mparntwe/Alice Springs. Currently managing 8 Hele Gallery, she has played a key role in its transformation from Raft Art Space into a vibrant hub for showcasing artists from the central Australian desert and the local community. Azura’s career spans roles at art centres north of Alice Springs and in the arts in Sydney, following a Bachelor of Arts and Advanced Studies from the University of Sydney, majoring in Art History and International Business. Committed to fostering community-driven practices, Azura is passionate about strengthening the visibility, sustainability, and cultural vitality of the arts in Central Australia.

Senior Arts Support Worker – Bindi Enterprises, Alice Springs
Full Time | Salary Packaging up to $15,900 | Creative, Cultural, Community Impact

• Monday to Friday shifts including occasional weekend and evening event work
• Work in a vibrant, inclusive art studio
• Support artists in developing their creative practice
• Be part of exhibitions, art fairs, and community events
• Use your art skills to make a real difference

What You’ll Be Doing
• Hands-on studio support: prepping materials, curating exhibitions, liaising with galleries
• Promoting artists and artworks via social media, sales, and marketing
• Providing person-centred support and encouraging independence
• Keeping the studio organised and documentation up to date

What You’ll Need
• NDIS Worker Screening Check & National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• First Aid & CPR certificates (or willingness to obtain)
• Driver’s Licence
• Experience in disability support, arts, or community services
• Great communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility for occasional weekend/evening events

Bonus Points For
• Fine arts background or arts admin experience
• Cert III/IV in Disability, Community Services or similar
• Knowledge of Aboriginal culture and the local arts scene
