🩺 National Cervical Cancer Awareness Week (Australia) 💙

This week, we join Australians in raising awareness about cervical cancer prevention and early detection.

Cervical cancer is one of the most preventable cancers. Regular Cervical Screening Tests (5 yearly, unless stated otherwise by a health professional) and the HPV vaccine are powerful tools that can help protect you.

Here at Jupiter Health Alkimos, we encourage all women and people with a cervix aged 25 to 74 to keep up to date with their screenings. If you’re unsure when your last test was, our friendly team can help you check or book an appointment.

Please note that our vaccine fridge in the clinic has broken down. This means we are unable to administer and or store patient vaccines at this time.

We are working extremely hard to resolve this situation and we ask for patience and understanding from our wonderful patients.

Please be advised that no immunisation bookings will be made at this time (unless the patient provides the vaccination/medication themselves)

We have an amazing sister clinic in Jupiter Health Two Rocks that will be able to help with all your immunisation needs until we are back up and running (hopefully next week)!

👀Keep your eyes peeled for Dr Chapman's availability in the coming weeks! 👀

Jupiter Health Alkimos is excited to welcome our chiropractor, Dr Peter Chapman, who has over 25 years’ experience providing care to patients both in the metro area, and across rural Western Australia. His expertise also led to him working as the Programme Chair for the School of Chiropractic at Murdoch University.

Dr Chapman has helped many people of all ages, lifestyles, and with many different conditions to improve their quality of life, feel their best, and get back to enjoying doing the things they enjoy! This impact has been both direct and indirect, considering he lectured both of our co-founders, leading to them developing their skills in differential diagnosis!

During his spare time, Dr Chapman plays indoor cricket, is a black-belt in dad jokes, and enjoys spending time with his kids and at the beach. If you suffer headaches, back pain, disc bulges, or just want to feel your best, book in with Pete the Chiro!
