🕊️ Remembrance Day 🕊️
Today, we pause to remember and honour those who have served and sacrificed for our country.
As we teach our children about Remembrance Day, it’s a beautiful opportunity to talk about:
❤️ Gratitude — for the freedoms we have today
🕯️ Reflection — taking quiet moments to think or draw what “peace” means to them
🌺 Connection — joining in the minute of silence together at 11am
Even small acts of remembrance help our children build empathy, understanding and community awareness.
Lest we forget. 🌺

Is your child “just playing”? 🎨🧸
From a paediatric OT’s point of view — that’s where real development is happening. 💡
Play isn’t a break from learning — it is learning.
It’s how children build motor skills, emotional regulation, language, and even confidence.
But here’s the thing:
👉 If your child avoids play, becomes frustrated easily, or seems “lost” during play, it could be a sign they need extra support.
That’s where OT comes in — to make sure every child has the skills and confidence to explore, create, and grow through play. 💛
