Hi, I’m Farran — a Speech Pathologist with 20+ years in the field, and still just as curious as day one.

I believe deeply in excellence in therapy and in providing the highest-quality, evidence-based support for children and families. I work across all areas of speech and language, with particular passion for orofacial & myofunctional therapy, complex speech sound disorders (including CAS), and literacy.

I’m a mum to two older kids, a total reading nerd 📚, and someone who genuinely loves supervising and mentoring other clinicians. I care deeply about the families I work with and love guiding and supporting them throughout their journey.

The Creative Communicators group held during the January school holidays has been a wonderful success and we had so much fun! 🕺

We welcomed a small group of girls aged 9–12 who worked on developing social language skills including:
💬Conversational skills
💬Understanding direct and indirect communication styles and implied meanings
💬Turn taking
💬Sharing perspectives
💬Using compromise language during disagreements
💬Sharing ideas and relevant information with peers
💬Body language
💬Voice and vocal volume
💬Building friendships

These skills were practised through engaging activities such as show and tell and making friendship bracelets. 🎭🎬🎤
