A look back to Harmony Week earlier this term! đź’«

Eloise and Ryan performing Cyberia in Brisbane, and Hamish and Amy bringing The Human Race to life in Sydney; two programs focused on helping students navigate the world around them with greater awareness, empathy and confidence.

Cyberia supports secondary students in understanding online behaviour, social pressures and how to make safer, more informed choices in digital spaces. The Human Race focuses on respect, belonging and empathy, helping primary students build strong connections and supportive communities.

Today is World Theatre Day! 🎭

It’s a day to recognise the impact theatre has around the world; bringing stories to life, sparking conversations and connecting communities through performance.

Theatre is at the heart of what we do. Through live performances in schools, we use storytelling to help students explore important topics like resilience, empathy and online safety in a way that is engaging and relatable..

We know how important it is for young people to feel supported, heard and connected and so often, that support comes from their peers.

At the Conference last week, we heard how schools like are empowering students through student led wellbeing and peer-to-peer support.

Building these skills starts in the classroom; giving students the confidence, awareness and language to safely support a peer who may be struggling.

R U OK? offers a range of free classroom resources for Years K–12 to help guide these conversations: https://www.ruok.org.au

Today marks the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.

It’s a day that reminds us to acknowledge the reality of racism, and the role we all play in challenging it; in our schools, communities and everyday conversations.

🎭 Today is World Day of Theatre for Children & Young People.

Led globally by , this day celebrates the unique power of theatre to connect with young audiences and inspire imagination, empathy and understanding.

Each year, the day carries a global message highlighting the importance of young people having access to meaningful cultural and artistic experiences. In 2026, the theme centres on the vital role theatre plays in helping young people explore ideas, express themselves and feel seen in the world around them.

Theatre gives children and young people the chance to see their stories reflected on stage, to engage with big ideas in a safe space, and to connect through shared experiences. It sparks creativity, builds empathy and opens up conversations that matter.
