My life outside of work is filled with the joys of hobby farming, and today has been a day of boundless energy, a day when every moment truly counts.
We had been eagerly waiting for Little Girl Pig's special moment, and last night was the night.
I visited the farm animals this morning before getting ready for work, and wow - 13 tiny piglets had arrived!
But as I looked closer, I saw that some of the little ones were struggling, smaller than the others and looking a bit lost.

There are only so many chairs at the milk bar ☹️. I knew, straight up I had to step in and foster a couple to lighten the load. If not there was a high chance of loosing a few.

So I would like to say this.... I'm grateful to work with some amazing people. I made the call explain my predicament.

But I am fortunate to work with such good people because I was treated with respect and dignity and I wasn't left with a situation where the fate of my piglets was left to chance. I was able to take the day to try and save some babies.

So this is a post to say thanks and extend my deepest appreciation to all the clients, participants, family members, and people with disabilities who treat their caregivers with the respect, dignity, and compassion - it's an honor to work alongside like-minded individuals, and for that, I am truly, grateful.
